I never used to give much thought to brick. Now, I love it. It is everchanging varieties of forms, outlines, patterns, textures and colours that now I'm fascinated. Sometimes, the detail jumps out at me. I question how did I do that. Sometimes, it is good not to ask too many questions. Trust to whatever hand is guiding you and  keep going. 

I have painted my brick paintings from photographs. The smartphone and camera have become fantastic supporting tools for me.
