Just being outdoors is a source of inspiration for all creative activities. I don't always have my camera with me. Sometimes, it can get in the way. You miss the moment. Other times, the camera or the sound recording app record something breathtaking and new. In the outdoors, often walking on my own or with a friend or two, things, problems or questions I've been troubled by lead to something of a way out. And the birdsong! I have grown this year to start to recognise a small number of birdsongs, mainly robins and tits, the odd finch sometimes. This adds an extra special sound layer to any time spent outdoors.
